MISSION
Joyoushout, born in 2020 during the pandemic, supports youth and adult change makers working at the intersections of justice, healing, creativity, and spirituality. Joyoushout offers Broad Spectrum Coaching, Change Consulting and Collaboration, Change Maker Classes, and Community Gatherings to deepen our connections, skills, and engagement with personal and collective transformation.
VISION
Joyoushout works in solidarity with individuals and groups to expand our capacity for disrupting oppression, repairing and preventing harm, and both reimagining and creating a brave, just, loving, and liberated world. We believe that to thrive we must continually grow our circles of care, move from "me" to "we", and become life long learners, un-learners, lovers, and change makers. This work is ever-evolving and rests on the shoulders of our ancestors, present day visionaries, change makers, and the future generations who will lead and shape our world after we are are gone from this life.
A WORD ABOUT EQUITY AND HOW JOYOUSHOUT SUSTAINS ITSELF...
Joyoushout coaching, consulting, and classes are sustained through a modified gift economy. A modified gift economy is a way of providing services without expectation of a fixed payment or cost. Many gifting options are provided. It is giving based on reciprocity and care rather than personal profit. OSC gatherings, the community branch of Joyoushout, are always free, and donors and partners who help support the work are always welcome.
