OVERVIEW: Joyoushout offers year round, evolving opportunities for youth and adults to explore, navigate, make, and celebrate change, intersectionality, our multiple identities, and our "superpowers" in safe, brave, joy-filled, and caring community spaces. Together we nurture critical awareness, creativity, courage, effective problem solving, communication, and collaboration, and the leadership skills that we need to be change makers in our schools, communities, and world. NEW!! Engaging Youth Changemakers
Spring Cohort is now in session and registration remains open until 4/1/25
EYC is a new hybrid (online and in-person) youth mentoring and leadership training program with two cohorts in the Spring and Summer of 2025 for up to 20 high school students and young adults ages 15-22. Participants will be youth who are committed to becoming strong, caring, creative, and self aware leaders in a rapidly changing and challenging world. EYC curriculum focuses on building Connection, Communication, Collaboration and Civic Engagement through designing and implementing Collaborative Community Initiatives (CCIs) with the help of youth and adult mentors dedicated to building a compassionate and just world. EYC draws inspiration from the U-school for Transformation, the United Nation Inner Development Goals, and the experiences and teaching models of its founders, Joyoushout creator Rinah Rachel Galper and Roberto Young.

Change Makers Challenge (Ages 10-14) is now available in schools and camps year round!
In this immersive week long program, an adaptation of EYC for middle and early highschool students, participants connect virtually and in person with change makers, educators, creatives, and healers in our communities to explore our multiple identities, how people navigate and make change in the communities we live in, and the many ways we can use our gifts and passions to create a more just, peaceful, and caring world. This program is ideal for aspiring and evolving movers and shakers. All gender identities welcomed and cherished.

The Dance: A Creative Journey with Change (ages 16+)
Join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 3-5 pm via zoom as Co-founder of Hearth Durham and Creative Coach Lindy Chichola together with Joyoushout founder Rinah Rachel Galper guide participants through the 13 phases of personal and collective change from incubation and birth to death and rebirth using meditation, movement, visual art, writing, and story. We connect with natural cycles and seasons, elements, and archetypes as anchors for our work. Register here.

This is a co-led monthly virtual sharing and practice space on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 1-2:30 pm EST/10-11:30 am PST. Miriam's Well is a collaborative offering between Joyoushout and Intersectional Group and is anchored in the liberation work from our lineages and teachers. The group is dedicated to supporting our personal and collective awakening and action. Register here.
