CHANGE CONSULTING & COLLABORATION
Joyoushout's founder Rinah Rachel Galper uses her expanded JEDI Model (see below), Healing Diamonds (see below), and 13 Phases of Personal and Collective Change (see below) created in collaboration with Lindy Chichola to support individuals, group, small businesses and organizations seeking to deepen their engagement with love, care, and justice driven practices and become the best version of themselves. What distinguishes JOYOUSHOUT's Work? Joyoushout studies and supports personal and collective transformation and liberation that is love rather than fear-driven. We continually learn from those whose work has been and is informed and shaped by lived experience, ancestral wisdom, deep care and connection, clear analysis, a celebration of both our differences and common ground, and expansive visions of a world in which we can all survive and thrive. We believe racism works in concert with classism, sexism, ableism, and other 'isms" to create "heirarchies of human value" (Heather McGhee) with very real and harmful consequences for both minoritized people and those of us from the dominant white caste here in the U.S. and around the world. Joyoushout's Expanded JEDI Model Joyful Justice (Addressing inequality and oppression through brave learning and truth telling, holding ourselves accountable, doing what is ours to prevent and repair harm, and creating caring, sustainable community) Education, Engagement, & Equity (Learning our history, engaging all stakeholders in equitable, participant directed or “leaderfull" decision making, and supporting ongoing liberatory and healing work ) Dialogue, Disrupting Discrimination, & Diversity (Embracing and leveraging our differences and our discomfort with change, confronting and reimagining dysfunctional narratives and practices, building trust, & inviting in “the other”) Intersectionality, Imagination, & Inclusion (Reflecting, Reimagining, Creating, and Sustaining new narratives, practices, policies, systems, and culture rooted in love and liberation) Joyoushout Services:

Rinah recently completed a six month collaboration with the World Learning Youth Ambassadors Program as one of two youth mentors guiding students to develop and implement social justice and cultural community based initiatives(CBI) in their home communities after a three week immersion in Argentina. She and her colleague and fellow mentor Roberto Young are now applying for a grant within World Learning to create an ongoing national youth mentorship cohort to support a deepening of youth led CBI work. Debt of Gratitude...
Rinah owes a debt of gratitude to REI, We Are Finding Freedom, the Revolutionary Love Project, Sutra, U-School of Transformation, the Durham based Anti-Racist White Creatives, Tema Okun, Angela Airall and many others for their wisdom, skill, trainings, patience, and care as she continues to evolve as an ally and accomplice in liberation. * In late December of 2022, Angela Airall and Rinah Rachel Galper were interviewed for show, "The Heart and Soul of Jazz", hosted by April Dawn, on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Healing Process.
